We all do it. We get “stuck” in our thinking, because “that’s the way we’ve always done it”. Just how well is that working for you? For your family? Your friends? Your community? Is it time to try “thinking differently?” Come and meet four influential people who “think differently”. Hear their stories and find out how thinking differently has changed their lives, and how they are making a difference in their families, their communities and our country. Join us at the March 2014 Patriots’ Breakfast!
C. Douglas Love, author of Logic: The Truth About Blacks and the Republican Party, is an avid reader with a keen interest in politics. Though he describes himself as a conservative, he strives to be a champion of the truth, and he thinks that both political parties do the country a disservice in their rhetoric.
Love was raised in Gary, Indiana but now resides in Chicago with his wife where he runs a political site and an organization, ThinkorDie.org, whose purpose is to galvanize conservatives and educate people on the conservative principles and the dangers of an overreaching government.
On Stephanie Trussell's Facebook page, she describes herself as a "Wife, mom, volunteer and political junkie. Proud Black Conservative Republican. Spreading the truth about Empowerment vs. Entitlement. Born in Chicago and raised on the westside. Reformed Chicago Democrat, found talk radio in 1993 and the transition started."
Stephanie won the 89 WLS Next Talk Star competition. Stephanie has a faithful following from her guest-host spots on WLS. She now has a regular show with Laura Kelly every Sunday, 9pm-midnight.
