June Patriot's Breakfast, Saturday June 4th at American Legion Post 76

June 4, 2016 from 9am to 11am
June's theme is Emergency Preparedness. It’s been awhile since we covered this topic. With tornado season upon us, political conventions with potential upheaval taking place this summer, and the nation’s finances getting worse, it’s just smart to do some preparation for emergencies. The speakers will be members of our group, informing other members, so if you have special tips or info to offer the group regarding preparedness, please let Carol know so we can have you share them at the meeting.…See More

050716 Statement by Carol Davis, Founder & Coordinator of West Suburban Patriots

As the nation worked it's way through the Presidential Primaries, it became obvious that some in our group either did not know our core principles, or did not believe in and uphold our core principles. This statement was made by Carol Davis at the May 7, 2016 Patriot's Breakfast in order to clarify for everyone what our group stands for, so they could make their decision on whether or not to continue their involvement in our organization.

There is an elephant in the room…

Illinois budget education

Patriots, this is a very informative panel discussion facilitated by the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform.  Bottom line, they are encouraging each of us to put pressure on our house and senate elected officials to DO THEIR JOB and stop playing the victim role.  Illinois is in crisis; Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin and others have dealt with fiscal crisis why can't we?  Answer: a lack of leadership and a will by the people and elected officials to DO THEIR JOB.  WE the PEOPLE need to apply…

West Suburban Patriots is an independent group of concerned citizens.  We are active in Dupage County and beyond. We spontaneously began in response to the United States government accelerating it's 100-year incremental descent into tyranny and losing sight of the fact that it serves at the will of "we the people". The principles of this movement are Fiscal Responsibility (reduce spending & lower taxes), Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Markets.

West Suburban Patriot's mission is to attract, educate, organize, and mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets.

West Suburban Patriots vision is to restore the United States of America to the constitutional republic as conceived and created by our Founding Fathers in the US Constitution.

Fiscal Responsibility by government honors and respects the freedom of the individual to spend the money that is the fruit of their own labor.  Runaway deficit spending as we now see in Washington D.C. compels us to take action as the increasing national debt is a grave threat to our national sovereignty and the personal and economic liberty of future generations.  Illinois’ unfunded liabilities are equally reckless.

Constitutionally Limited Government: We regard the Constitution of the United States to be the supreme law of the land. We believe that it is possible to know the original intent of the government our founders set forth, and stand in support of that intent. Like the founders, we support states' rights for those powers not expressly stated in the Constitution. As the government is of the people, by the people and for the people, we support the personal liberty of the individual, within the rule of law.

Free Markets: A free market is the economic consequence of personal liberty. The founders believed that personal and economic freedom were indivisible. Our current government's interference distorts the free market and inhibits the pursuit of individual and economic liberty. Therefore, we support a return to the free market principles on which this nation was founded and oppose government intervention into the operations of private business.

Candidates and elected officials are welcome to attend our meetings. We will always introduce them and give them a few minutes, normally during the last half hour.  We encourage candidates to stay afterwards for one-on-one discussions.  details
