The High Cost of Prohibited Political Activity in DuPage County

Because I'm new here, allow me to start with a brief introduction.

For a decade, I've been a volunteer government watchdog of DuPage County. It all began when I discovered that our election software was programmed by a guy with 23 convictions in computer fraud. I believed my family and the citizens of DuPage deserved better. I found where the Election Commission was meeting and gave my first public comment. There was no turning back.

I probably know more about…

Illinois proposed Constitution Amendments?

I was disappointed to see the non-substantive amendments as recently distributed by Jessie White, IL Secretary of State.  They deal with Victim's Rights and Voter Discrimination.  Rather than promote amendments to promote virtuous behavior such as: voter ID (to ensure a more trusting voting process), remove any language for a definition of marriage(God defined it so the state never needed to re-affirm God's Word), or many other opportunities to improve our…

Illinois' forced concealed Carry is making Chicago safer

From the Washington Times: 'Since Illinois started granting concealed carry permits this year, robberies that led to arrests has declined 20 percent, per police department statistics. Burglary and motor vehicle thefts are down 20 percent and 26 percent, respectively. In the first quarter, the city’s homicide rate was at a 56-year low.'

No thanks to Rahm and his puppet Carry McCarthy.

More letter writing, this time to the NRSC

Yeah I must be in a letter writing mood this week. This time in response to a letter from the NRSC addressed by Jeb Bush (whatever), so I decided to write them back. Who knows if anyone will read it but it sure felt good to do it.

West Suburban Patriots is an independent group of concerned citizens.  We are active in Dupage County and beyond. We spontaneously began in response to the United States government accelerating it's 100-year incremental descent into tyranny and losing sight of the fact that it serves at the will of "we the people". The principles of this movement are Fiscal Responsibility (reduce spending & lower taxes), Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Markets.

West Suburban Patriot's mission is to attract, educate, organize, and mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets.

West Suburban Patriots vision is to restore the United States of America to the constitutional republic as conceived and created by our Founding Fathers in the US Constitution.

Fiscal Responsibility by government honors and respects the freedom of the individual to spend the money that is the fruit of their own labor.  Runaway deficit spending as we now see in Washington D.C. compels us to take action as the increasing national debt is a grave threat to our national sovereignty and the personal and economic liberty of future generations.  Illinois’ unfunded liabilities are equally reckless.

Constitutionally Limited Government: We regard the Constitution of the United States to be the supreme law of the land. We believe that it is possible to know the original intent of the government our founders set forth, and stand in support of that intent. Like the founders, we support states' rights for those powers not expressly stated in the Constitution. As the government is of the people, by the people and for the people, we support the personal liberty of the individual, within the rule of law.

Free Markets: A free market is the economic consequence of personal liberty. The founders believed that personal and economic freedom were indivisible. Our current government's interference distorts the free market and inhibits the pursuit of individual and economic liberty. Therefore, we support a return to the free market principles on which this nation was founded and oppose government intervention into the operations of private business.

Candidates and elected officials are welcome to attend our meetings. We will always introduce them and give them a few minutes, normally during the last half hour.  We encourage candidates to stay afterwards for one-on-one discussions.  details
